The Smashing Machine, an upcoming American biographical sports drama, is written, directed, co-produced, and co-edited by Benny Safdie. Starring Dwayne Johnson as former wrestler/MMA fighter Mark Kerr and Emily Blunt as his then-wife Dawn Staples, the film is slated for release by A24 on October 3, 2025.
