SAN FRANCISCO — June 24, 2025 — The All-American Rejects, the chart-topping rock band known for hits like “Gives You Hell” and “Dirty Little Secret,” will headline this year’s Fandom Party in San Diego.
The event, hosted by the fan platform Fandom, will take place Thursday, July 24, from 7 to 11 p.m. at FLOAT at the Hard Rock Hotel. The party coincides with San Diego’s largest fan convention and is sponsored by Universal Orlando Resort and Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc.
Now in its eighth year, the Fandom Party has become a marquee event during convention week, attracting fans, celebrities, industry insiders and influencers for a night that blends pop culture, music, gaming and immersive experiences.
The All-American Rejects have sold more than 10 million albums worldwide and amassed billions of global streams, cementing their legacy as one of the most iconic rock bands of the 21st century. Their performance will help kick off the convention weekend in a major way.
This year’s event will feature a range of interactive fan-first experiences, including:
A preview of Universal Epic Universe, which opened in May as Universal Orlando Resort’s fourth theme park. Attendees can explore custom interactions representing the park’s five immersive worlds: Celestial Park, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic, Super Nintendo World, How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk and Dark Universe.
A photo opportunity inspired by Bandai Namco’s upcoming action RPG Code Vein II, featuring a life-size replica of the in-game Motorcycle Forma vehicle.
Additional custom activations from brand partners, including a themed scavenger hunt hosted by The Elf on the Shelf and Z2.
Guests ages 21 and older can also enjoy beverages from the party’s official drink sponsor, Mike’s HARDER Lemonade.
