“South Park” continues its hot streak in Season 27, with the second episode drawing 6.2 million global multi-platform viewers in its first three days, according to Comedy Central and Paramount+ data. The episode marks the highest-rated installment of the series since 2018 and delivered the biggest audience share in the show’s history.
Episode 2702 posted significant week-over-week growth on streaming, with global consumption on Paramount+ rising 49% compared to the Season 27 premiere. The episode aired Wednesday, Aug. 6, on Comedy Central and became the No. 1 telecast on cable that night, and No. 2 across all of television, trailing only “Big Brother.”

Comedy Central Celebrates ‘South Park Day’ on Aug. 13
As part of its annual “South Park Day” celebration, Comedy Central will air the series’ very first episode, “Cartman Gets an Anal Probe,” on Wednesday, Aug. 13, at 10 p.m. ET/PT. The episode will also be available to stream the following day on Paramount+.
Season 27 continues Wednesday, Aug. 20, with a brand-new episode airing on Comedy Central and streaming the next day on Paramount+.
