SeaWorld San Diego to Celebrate July Fourth With Fireworks, Military Tributes and Summer Deals
SAN DIEGO (June 24, 2025) — SeaWorld San Diego will mark Independence Day with a special fireworks show and a weekend of military appreciation events, along with deep discounts on tickets and annual passes.
The extended fireworks spectacular begins at 9:30 p.m. on Friday, July 4. Guests can watch from throughout the park or reserve premium seating in select stadiums.
To celebrate the holiday, SeaWorld is offering its lowest prices of the year through its Fourth of July Sale. Guests can save up to 55% on admission and receive a free Annual Pass with the purchase of one at full price, now through July 6.
As part of its Military Appreciation Weekend, SeaWorld will honor active-duty service members, veterans and their families July 4–6. The event includes special tributes, live performances and informational pop-ups from veteran organizations, including Warriors Foundation Freedom Station, Freedom Dogs Foundation and Support Our Troops.
Eligible active-duty U.S. military members, veterans and retirees can receive free single-day admission for themselves and up to three dependents. Tickets must be registered in advance at WavesofHonor.com by June 22 and redeemed by July 6. A valid military ID is required.
SeaWorld’s military ticket program also offers active-duty personnel and their families additional free and discounted admission throughout the year via MWR and ITT offices or online through the Waves of Honor program.
Summer Entertainment Lineup
The park’s summer programming includes a new parade and a nine-week concert series featuring top hip-hop and R&B artists from the 1990s and early 2000s. Headliners include Baby Bash, Ying Yang Twins, Soulja Boy & Bow Wow, Fat Joe, Waka Flocka Flame, Trina and Ginuwine, along with the "I Love the 90’s Tour" and "The Turnt Up Tour."
New this summer is Jewels of the Sea: The Jellyfish Experience, an immersive exhibit showcasing glowing jellyfish displays. Guests can also enjoy stunt shows, character meet-and-greets, fireworks and nighttime coaster rides.
A fan-favorite ride, Journey to Atlantis, San Diego’s first water coaster, is set to reopen this summer.
Additional Summer Perks
Guests 21 and older can cool off with a cold draft beer for just 75 cents per visit at High Tides Brew. The special is available daily from 11 a.m. to park close.
Annual Passes offer year-round unlimited visits with perks such as free parking, guest tickets, discounts on dining and merchandise, and early access to new attractions. Pass Members will be among the first to ride the reopened Journey to Atlantis.
