La Victoria Shares New Norteño Sax Anthem "Exceso De Belleza"
The Mexican group is also currently on tour.
The emerging Mexican group La Victoria released their newest norteño sax single, “Exceso De Belleza,” via the rising norteño sax-focused record label G Records. “Exceso De Belleza” is a catchy música mexicana track featuring the pulsing norteño sax elements that the band is known for.
“This song is very nice, making me relive the beautiful moments of a courtship; the work of falling in love with the woman, which is something that you can say that all men live or feel in the process of reaching the courtship! It’s for you to dedicate it to your partners,” the vocalist Alan said about the new single.
La Victoria – formed by Alan López (bajo quinto), David (vocals and bass), Miguel Ángel Valencia (vocals and saxophone), Jessy Uncalun (accordion), and Junior de la Riva (drums) – is back with their newest single that incorporates the band’s musical strengths. With a dancing accordion, a passionate saxophone, and rhythmic percussions, La Victoria creates a new norteño sax banger that invites lovebirds to go on the dancefloor. With lyrics like “Mil veces te soñé / Pero neta que yo nunca me imagine / Que en la vida real fueras más guapa, más perfecta / Por dentro y por fuera / Exceso de belleza,” the vocalist confesses his love for his partner while his band members create a rhythmic regional Mexican soundscape to dance to. Overall, “Exceso De Belleza” is another testament to what the promising Mexican group La Victoria has to offer in today’s demanding norteño sax subgenre that G Records is tapping into.
La Victoria is also on tour this month. The band will bring their energetic performances to cities like Naples, FL (May 16), Dade City, FL (May 17), and Huntington Park, CA (May 22). More tour dates include Perris, CA (May 24), Hesperia, CA (May 25), Houston, TX (May 30), and Dallas, TX (May 31).
