Knott’s Merry Farm and Magic Mountain’s Holiday in the Park Bring Festive Cheer This Season
This holiday season, Knott’s Merry Farm and Six Flags Magic Mountain’s Holiday in the Park invite guests to immerse themselves in enchanting winter wonderlands.
Knott’s Merry Farm, running Nov. 21 through Jan. 4, will come alive with the magic of the season, featuring beloved traditions such as Snoopy’s Night Before Christmas and the Snow and Glow experience. The park will debut a new centerpiece this year — a dazzling Christmas tree adorned with more than 7,000 lights, 100 custom-made candles and vintage Victorian-inspired wood ornaments.
On select evenings from Nov. 27 through Jan. 4, Magic Mountain’s Holiday in the Park will sparkle with more than 2 million lights and larger-than-life ornaments. Guests can enjoy a new tree-lighting ceremony each night featuring singers, dancers and the illumination of a towering Christmas tree.

The Tis the Season Tree Lighting ceremony in Calico Park remains a fan favorite, featuring dancers, singers and nostalgic holiday charm.
Christmas in Calico continues with the Snow and Glow experience, filling Ghost Town with thousands of twinkling lights set to Christmas music as “snow” gently falls. The Wilderness Dance Hall transforms into Santa’s Christmas Cabin, where families can take photos with Santa Claus and his friends.
At the Bird Cage Theatre, Knott’s melodrama company presents A Calico Christmas Carol, a reimagined version of the Charles Dickens classic, along with The Gift of the Magi, 1885, Knott’s take on O. Henry’s timeless story of love and sacrifice.
The Ghost Town Carolers will perform Victorian Christmas songs throughout the streets, while Home for the Holidaysbrings high-energy dancing and festive tunes to the Calico Mine Stage.
Over at the Walter Knott Theater, Snoopy and the Peanuts gang return for Snoopy’s Night Before Christmas, where Snoopy and the Knott’s Ice-Skating Ensemble retell “A Visit from St. Nicholas” with a Peanuts twist.
At the Fiesta Plaza Stage, bands Adelaide Pilar and Junio will perform Latin Caribbean, New York salsa and Top 40 hits. The Knott’s Christmas Crafts Village also returns, featuring local artisans selling handcrafted gifts, from wood carvings to blown glass.
Festive food offerings include chicken tamale fries, a turkey corn dog with stuffing-seasoned batter, and gingerbread cheesecake dip with Nilla Wafers. Mrs. Knott’s Chicken Dinner Restaurant will feature new holiday dishes, including the shareable turkey club “jumbowich.”
Guests can extend their visit with the Knott’s Merry Farm Holiday Package, which includes hotel accommodations, one-day park admission per registered guest and parking at The Knott’s Hotel.

Magic Mountain’s Holiday in the Park
From coasters to cocoa, Holiday in the Park at Six Flags Magic Mountain offers holiday fun for all ages. Each evening begins with the new Tree Lighting Ceremony in the DC Universe area, featuring dancers, singers and the lighting of a majestic Christmas tree.
New this year is Oh Santa! A Holiday Spectacular, starring the Snow Belles and the Holly Jollies, hosted by Jack Frost and his sidekick, Snickerdoodle. The show blends song, dance and comedy with themes of giving, peace, love and hope.
Returning favorites include Reindeer Dash, showcasing Santa’s reindeer in a lively slider show, and HollyRock!, a 1950s-inspired rockabilly holiday show in the Gleampunk District.
In Holiday Square, guests can stroll through a kaleidoscope of lights and falling snow, while Wishing Ridge offers a whimsical light show. Peppermint Path features live country holiday music from Drivin’ Mama Crazy, and Jingle Bell Way delights visitors with 30-foot ornaments and a choreographed light display.
Across the park, including Holiday Village, guests can enjoy family-friendly activities such as visits with Santa, crafts with Mrs. Claus, photo ops, wish-list stations, rides on the North Pole Express, fire pits and s’mores. Holiday-themed merchandise, ornaments and plush toys will also be available.
The seasonal menu features festive dishes such as pozole, a holiday burger with turkey bacon and cranberry aioli, and bourbon brown sugar-glazed ribs. Sweet treats include s’mores funnel cake, banana pudding and pumpkin pie. Guests can also roast marshmallows over open fire pits throughout the park.
