Best Medicine, based on the beloved global hit Doc Martin follows Martin Best (Josh Charles, The Good Wife), a brilliant surgeon who leaves Boston to become a small-town doctor in an East Coast fishing village.

Martin’s blunt, borderline abrasive bedside manner quickly puts him at odds with the quirky, tight-knit locals. He alienates the town, even though he's all they have.

Although Martin can expertly address any medical ailment or mystery in this idiosyncratic town, his brilliance is matched only by his inability to connect. But tenacity is the creed of everyone in their small village, and the people who live there may be exactly what the doctor ordered.
