ORLANDO, Fla., and UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. (June 13, 2025) – Halloween Horror Nights is resurrecting horror icon Jason Voorhees from the Friday the 13th films in an all-new haunted house, “Jason Universe.” The experience returns guests to the summer camp where the infamous legend began. The terror kicks off Friday, Aug. 29, at Universal Orlando Resort and Thursday, Sept. 4, at Universal Studios Hollywood.
For 45 years, Jason has haunted audiences around the world and remains one of cinema’s most notorious villains. This fall, the creative team behind Halloween Horror Nights pays tribute to the machete-wielding killer with a terrifying new haunted house designed to chill longtime fans and newcomers alike.
“Jason Universe” will take guests on a horrifying journey through the summer campgrounds where it all started — from the creaking floorboards of Jason’s run-down cabin to the rotting main lodge and the ominous forest that offers no escape. At every turn, guests will confront iconic, gruesome moments from Jason’s deadly legacy as he stalks his victims who discover too late that the legend is real.
