NEWS x MUSE - Josslyn Glenn talks with comedians Francisco Ramos and Daniela Inés Calvo at The Comedy Store in Hollywood. The two host The Comedy Store's first Spanish-language and bilingual monthly show, where they invite three additional Latino comedians of different backgrounds and varying levels of fame to open for them.
Within 48 hours of the show, the duo decided to donate a fraction of the proceeds to Immigrant Defenders Law Center, a non-profit law firm defending undocumented individuals against systemic injustice in the legal system. This comes as a response to the current presidential administration's deployment of I.C.E. and the U.S. National Guard to Los Angeles County to crackdown on undocumented persons.
