Disney drops first trailer for 'Tron: Ares'

BURBANK, Calif. - Disney released TRON: Ares's first trailer and poster, the highly anticipated third movie in the TRON franchise.

TRON: Ares follows the highly sophisticated Program Ares. Ares is sent on a dangerous mission from the digital world into the real world, making humankind’s first encounter with A.I. beings.

The film is directed by Joachim Rønning and stars Jared Leto, Greta Lee, Evan Peters, Hasan Minhaj, Jodie Turner-Smith, Arturo Castro, Cameron Monaghan, with Gillian Anderson, and Jeff Bridges.

Disney’s “TRON: Ares” releases in U.S. theaters on October 10, 2025.
